Windwerk Artists was created in 1997 to bring together organists committed to the highest standards of performance and scholarship under one roster. The name 'Windwerks' evokes the rich history of northern European organ building, where 'Werk' refers to a division of pipes, often within a large instrument with three or four separate 'Werke.' A deep knowledge of our past enables us to seek out new ways to promote the organ, and we have a broad array of specializations within the vast repertoire. Windwerk Artists play a wide variety of music in many different contexts, always at the highest level of artistry.
